Top-order batsman, Zak Crawley, who has been described as natural stroke maker met with an unexpected accident outside the visitors’ dressing room at the MA Chidambaram Stadium and he will be out of the first two Tests of the India series.
He was leaving the dressing rooms onto the field of play and slipped on the marble floor. He slipped on the marble floor and his right wrist got injured and as per the scanning report, he got sprained the joint and led to local inflammation.
Zak is going to miss two India vs England tests at Chennai, first test is going to start from Friday and Zak does not look like he will be able to play with the injury. England’s medical team will continue to assess his progress over the next few weeks.

Hope he will recover by February 24, as the third match of the four-Test series – due to begin and not having Zak might be a big hit for the team.
Get well soon Zak! Team needs you.
