And the co-founder and chief executive of MPL, Sai Srinivas, said that “As we grow our presence and expand, this fresh round of funds will help us focus on our core value propositions — a robust platform with the best features for gamers and onboarding the best eSports titles. The esports community in India is thriving, and we believe this is the perfect time to take Indian-made games to the world as well as help Indian gamers get recognized for their talent.”
This is really an amazing news and according to the MPL BCCI deal, MPL Sports has entered into a three-year agreement with the BCCI starting from November 2020 to December 2023 which is worth around ₹120 Crore.
When MPL was 3 month old they have signed up with Virat Kohli, and they were actually told that it will be a tough race and there won’t be a guaranty of growth but beating all of this they stood as number one now and partnered with many grown companies.
