Spanish professional tennis player Rafael Nadal, pulled out Spain’s opening Association of Tennis Professionals Cup tie with a lower back problem.
Rafael already announced that he will not be taking place in his team’s first match of ATP Cup 2021 in Australia because of his lower back pain and he need some time to recover from that.
Though there are chances that he will get well soon with in couple of days, he needs to take rest as The Grand Slam event will be taking place between February 8 and 21 and it will be the 109th edition of the tournament.
Hi all, we have decided with #TeamSpain and my team, to not play today the first match of the @ATPCup here in #Melbourne since I have a stiff low back. Hopefully I’ll be better for Thursday. We have a strong team, all the to @pablocarreno91 @BautistaAgut & @M_Granollers #vamos 🇪🇸

And Nadal wants to be a part of the same and the world number two, 34, was scheduled to face Australia’s Alex de Minaur at Melbourne Park on Tuesday. And we might hope Nadal would be able to take place in the match against Greece on Thursday.
Lets pray for Nadal’s speedy recovery so that he can come back to field, because without a good competitor there is no joy watching the game.
