Spin bowling all-rounder Axar Patel was on Friday ruled out of the first Test against England after complaining of pain in his left knee. The all-rounder complained of pain in his left knee during Team India‘s optional training session on Thursday.
Axar Patel is being monitored by the BCCI Medical Team, and he will not be available for the first Test against England, starting from today.
Left-arm orthodox bowler Shabaz Nadeem and leg-spinner Rahul Chahar have been added to the team.
Nadeem and Chahar both brigs immense experience with them and they will be surely able to cover the place of Axar Patel. For now, we need to wait for Patel’s reports and wish for his speedy recovery.
